The Parable of the Seeds or The Parable of the Soils is one we need to review often. What part of God's word do we let Satan steal away, what part do we discard during the hard times, what part is lost in the thorns, and what part do we receive and embrace and let bear fruit through God's grace?

ReplyDeleteSatan knows where to attack as he knows our weakness. The Parable of the Seeds and Soils explains this clearly. When things go right for us, we are fine. When difficult times happen, we fall away from God and believe it is God giving us the problems. When our faith and belief is strong and "deep," then we grow and bear fruit with God's grace. This comes with time. When we get through a problem, then we know God will get us through the next problem. Bearing fruit is sharing what we have learned with others...especially those going through the same thing later.
