In verse 8 of chapter 7, Jesus says we ignore God's commandment while holding on to rules created by humans. This certainly is something we need to think about. We have a lot of laws created by people. Why do we obey them but ignore the commandments of the Lord of Life?

ReplyDeleteBy Joann Turner: We prefer to do the laws created by people because it is easier and more popular. We think we can do right on our own merits and ignore God...not realizing He does a much better job! Until we know that God's way is the best way...we will blindly follow human law. That does not mean to ignore the human law..but not to let them rule us!
