By Joann Turner: We betray Jesus more than we realize. We humans want payment for doing good deeds. In Judas' case he wanted to be paid for a bad deed. Denial of Jesus/God and the Holy Spirit is no different. We may deny by being quiet or ignoring a situation when we could share Jesus with someone. The classic betrayals remain the same. "Nothing is different under the sun".
