Reading these two chapters together in one sitting helps us understand why Jesus calls us to examine our lives and see who we follow. Who is the baiggest influence in our lives. Whom do we follow? Whom do we imitate? And have we thought about why we hold them in such high esteem?
I can't really say that I have a role model but I do love the Lord.

ReplyDeleteFrom Joann: I am trying something new. Hurrah for Jim for posting! Jesus is healing and forgiving in these two chapters. He is obeying God, His Father, who told Him what to do. My Mother is my influence. She loved, forgave and supported me unconditionally. I try to imitate her Christian life in sharing and giving to others. She took care of her ill Mother, who lived to be 100, and my ill Dad in her home until they died. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I try daily to follow Him and obey Him. Praise God!
ReplyDeleteI think you are a role model Jim Bishop!
